Homemade succulent wreath. This time of year, Lowe's did not have a wide selection (let alone color selection) like the choices in the instructional photo, but mine will do for now and will grow in over the next few months, then I can hang outside.

  1. Everything you have posted is wonderful. First, how do you make the wreath? And secondly, how do you post pictures?

    1. Here is are wreath instructions that I used:

I originally found this one online for $100 (http://www.vivaterra.com/succulent-wreath.html) and thought, "I'll bet I can make that." Mine cost less than $15!

Re: posting pictures, the short answer is to click on "new post" up in the upper right hand corner of the blog screen by your email address. It will bring up a text box that you use like Microsoft Word, just typing into it like you would a comment. If you want to add a picture, click on the tiny little picture icon at the top of the text box next to where it says "link." It will then take you to the place to upload your picture from your computer or from the web.

This is where it gets a little tricky. We have iPhones, an iPad, and a Mac (all apple devices), so they are all synched and share the same "photo stream." John made a couple adjustments, and the Mac reads the photos that are on my iPhone. If you don't have this kind of set up, you will need to first upload your pictures from your phone to your computer or on to something like Picasa. If you can tell me your specific situation re: how you usually get pictures onto your computer, John and I can probably figure out what to tell you.

  2. Good points, Faith. Instructions or links would be great for some of these projects. Also, I will post instructions on how to post photos. Another thing--I can't figure out why you came up as unknown! Lots of bugs to be worked out!
